  • I suffered hip/leg pain for many years. I had steroid and PRP injections, along with physical therapy that offered very little relief. Per my main physician, recommended Dr. Amit Parekh of Parkview Orthopaedic Group. After one MRI, Dr. Parekh identified the problem (pressure on my Sciatic nerve) and recommend L4-L5 decompression surgery. The surgery lasted 2 hours and I was able to walk out of the hospital with minimum amount of pain. i was able to return to normal activities (but not heavy lifting) a week after the surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Parekh if you require Sciatic pain relief

  • At the risk of speaking with flattery. I can't say enough about Dr. Parekh. This surgeon was thorough, listened, and explained everything throughout my experience and eventually surgery. Literally changed my quality of life from being in constant pain to no pain! Never rushed surgery and promoted conservative therapy before he/I made decision to have surgery. For reference I had a bulging disk at C6/7 causing weakness, pain and atrophy in triceps and surrounding areas. Dr. Parekh performed a disk replacement. I'm two month's post op, off pain meds days after surgery, progressing in physical therapy. Dr. Parekh personally called to check on me. Who does that? Health is wealth. Making decision for surgery was scary, but I'm glad our path's crossed. Thanks for all you do!

  • I am a lifelong hockey player and coach. I have had several injuries over the years. But after suffering a fractured vertebrae and herniated disc in an awkward collision with the boards, I required spinal surgery. Dr Parekh is not only a top level surgeon, he cares about his patients well being and the patients post operative well being. He treats his patients physically as well as emotionally, as a spinal surgery can take its toll on the mind as well as the body. Dr Parekh doesn’t just treat the injury, he treats the patient and the patients family as well. If you are in need of any type of back or spinal treatment, then Dr Parekh is your guy. PERIOD.
